The DeepSeek Chat block can be added to a course by the 'editingteacher' role at the course-level.

The 'editingteacher' role can choose the 'Configure DeepSeek...' option to customize the DeepSeek AI to the particular course. This can be done by: i) adding an 'assistant name', ii) adding a 'user name', iii) adding sources of truth, and iv) adding a completion prompt. See screenshot below:
